I didn't buy this feeder, it was a gift from my in-laws and I have to say it is the best feeder I've ever owned! Not only is it beautiful, but it's a cinch to clean, easy to fill and the hummers love it! I am constantly running out of food and having to make whip up more to keep my hummers happy. With my old plastic feeder the food never ran out and I'd end up pouring it out and replacing it with fresh because it would go bad. No more!
I would definitely recommend this feeder! I am going to buy myself another, maybe two, and I'm also going to buy one for my in-laws who bought this one for me. I always have hummers long before they do and we're all convinced that it's a feeder! :)

They are beautiful but still no hummers! They look great, though, hanging in the trees!

I put this up with two other red glass feeders. The Hummers preferred this one. I changed postions of the three and also switched the bases but they kept coming to this one. Other than the price, two other issues: (1) the base is hard plastic and will probably break where the bottle screws in and (2) the capacity is small and runs out quickly. If the base breaks, I'll just substitute the base from one of the other feeders and keep using this one.

This is not only a beautiful piece of art, it is also the only feeder I have ever had that actually kept out all ants! My only wish is that it had been just a tad bigger so it could hold a cup of liquid, that's why it got the 4 stars. But I love it anyway.
